I empower retailers and makers to reach their potential through sales growth, process implementation and excellence in customer experience.
While most of my clients are established independent retailers and emerging Irish craft and design businesses, my training clients come from a wide range of customer facing companies including high street retailers and hospitality businesses.
Having worked in the retail industry for over 20 years with Irish and international brands, my clients benefit from my knowledge, my experience and my hands-on practical approach to provide solutions and initiate change.
I launched ‘The Retail Advisor’ consultancy to empower retailers and Irish craft and design makers in the West and North West of Ireland.

My retail journey started with Laura Ashley in the summer before university. After achieving a first class honours degree, I returned to Ireland and completed a Masters degree in Business Studies (MBS), having written a retail focused dissertation.
I went on to work for a variety of both International and Irish brands such as Brown Thomas, IKEA, Kilkenny Design and legacy brand Foxford Woollen Mills. I worked my way up through various positions in sales, store management, operations and visual, learning best practices and achieving success. I gained an incredible amount of knowledge in all aspects of the industry including buying, merchandising, new store openings and stock control. I also designed and implemented retail training programmes to develop the customer retail experience.
