International Women’s Day 2021

International Women’s Day 2021

Customer Experience Ireland

I was delighted to be featured in the Mayo News newspaper for International Women’s Day.

I discussed the resilience that retailers have shown, despite the awful year they have had. Local businesses are a vital part of our communities, many of them are experts at what they do.

International Women’s Day also marked the launch of Women in CX a global community of women within the customer experience sector.

I am incredibly proud to have been chosen as a founding member and to be representing Ireland. The founding members are from all over the world, making us a group of diverse women, with one thing in common: a passion for customer experience.

Melissa Moore The Retail Advisor

Customer Experience is such a vast subject. At its core it is the emotional connection that a customer has towards a business throughout the entire customer journey. Good experience leads to greater sales, more frequent sales and loyal customers.

However, as the thinking behind customer experience has developed, we’ve learned the importance of measurement, metrics, team development, employee and customer feedback and emotional intelligence.

I am so excited to learn, question and immerse myself in the world of customer experience as my journey into global customer experience begins. I’m looking forward to ‘borrowing’ best practices from around the world, while gaining a deeper insight into the sector, thanks to some of the world’s most knowledgeable professionals.

I’ll be sharing this new found knowledge with my clients through webinars, mentoring sessions and team training workshop in the future.
